Our story began in the Summer of 2005 when we were told our Chihuahua had Diabetes.  Our dilemma was our other dog (Lab/Shepherd/Chow) was only 2 and we were doing extensive training with Her.  You know how it is - You can't give one a treat and not the other!

We looked all over for treats to give them.  But everything had Fructose, cornmeal, additives, by-products and things we couldn't pronounce. (we were taught if you can't pronounce it don't eat it!)

After label reading we couldn't believe what was in some of the treats (and food) that we were feeding the girls, food we wouldn't eat ourselves.

Someone suggested we make our own treats.   We started making Human-grade doggie treats that all of us can enjoy!
And that is how Cold Nose Bakery was started!!!
